ACO In Concert: Brahms Double & Dvořák 8
ACO In Concert
•
1h 31m
In 2019, Artistic Director Richard Tognetti and ACO Principal Cello Timo-Veikko Valve took centre stage in Brahms’s vast and brilliant Double Concerto. Tognetti then lead the Orchestra through one of the most glorious symphonies of the 19th Century, Dvořák’s Symphony No.8.
Opening the concert is the World Premiere of Australian composer Andrew Ford’s Fanfare for Neverland Solo Trumpet, which paves the way for the Australian premiere of Gran Turismo, a flamboyant, high-octane work to be performed by eight virtuoso violinists of the ACO.
Relive this explosive finale to the ACO’s 2019 Season.
